We have been made aware that there is a Facebook page and a ‘go fund me’ page that are saying they wish to raise funds to support Stratton School Farm. We need to inform parents, the public and our supporters that the school has not set up nor sanctioned either of these sites and therefore we recommend that you do not donate through these means. If you wish to support the farm please visit the farm website at strattonschoolfarm.org to get information about our shop opening times and events. We would be delighted to welcome you whenever you choose to visit.

Whilst we recognise the genuine, well-meaning intentions of those who have set up these pages, we are working to get the sites removed. If you have any questions or concerns please email headteacher@stratton.beds.sch.uk .

Why don't you back the individuals that have started these sites and thank them for their support as they are trying to keep a farm open that I very much enjoyed learning at whilst I was at Stratton .

.

You need to put more signs up directing people where to go. We went to see the farm animals when it was open one Sunday with our small children. We nearly turned back, as we were walking round the whole school before finding it. Maybe more people would come if there was better signage?

Why would you remove it if people are willing to donate to the farm that teaches us and has no money? If it’s genuine then it shouldn’t be an issue surely

Have you considered getting some of the students in the tech classes wood work classes to help renovate some of the basic bits on the farm could be helpful doing a fence a studwall, cladding ,swing a door maybe some things that would help when they own a house basic tool use maybe speak to some of the big building sites see of they have any spare we all know whats wasted on building sites plus some might be just willing to help
