School communications over the summer holidays

YEAR 9 SPORTS DAY

Our Year 9 sports day will be taking place tomorrow, Thursday 19th July. For our year 9s the sports day will follow the normal lessons 1 to 5 timetable, with different sports and activities each lesson.

Year 9 students are allowed to come to school in their Stratton PE kit. However, depending on our wonderful British weather they may require plain Track bottoms and the Stratton Rugby top/sweatshirt or, if the weather continues as it is at the moment, they may need sunscreen.

As it is important to keep hydrated, it will be necessary for students to bring water or at least a water container with them. They are encouraged to take on water throughout the day, so need to make sure the fill up before registration, at break time and at lunchtime. The school canteen will be open at the normal times.

We are looking forward to a fun day of various supporting activities.
